Superwatt (Pty) Ltd was formed in response to the growing demand for complete back-up power solutions. Although supplying units across the range from 11kVA to 20MVA and larger, the company has established itself as leading supplier of larger applications with modular platforms (including step-up / down transformers), allowing future expansion and reconfiguration.
Superwatt (Pty) Ltd enjoys sole distribution rights for Superwatt China, a leading supplier to the United Nations, having already been awarded orders in excess of USD 50m. Initially based only in Shenzhen, Superwatt has since more than tripled its production capacity with the recent opening of a second factory in JiNing.
Larger generating sets (exceeding 500kVA) are fully manufactured UK Perkins and US Cummins units. This option is offered for smaller units as well. All other units are manufactured under OEM licenses. All units carry a full guarantee (1 year or 1000 hours), and also enjoy full international warranties from local representatives. All equipment meets BS4999, BS5000, BS5514, IEC34 VDE0530 and MG-1.22 standards.
Superwatt South Africa has its own warehousing and factory facility in Cape Town, and is represented throughout Southern Africa. Approved by Customs as a registered bonded warehouse, export orders are processed directly without any delays on Customs Duties and VAT refunds. As a result projects are reaching well beyond the borders of South Africa.
