Maintenance
In addition to the distribution and installation of various generators, Superwatt also offers a maintenance contract to ensure the efficient ongoing operation of our generators. Once the generator is commissioned an invitation is extended, offering the option of either a monthly or quarterly maintenance for the period of one year, with the option of renewal.
This is conducted by Superwatt’s service teams which come out to inspect the unit, give it a general clean including a complete start up to assess it is in full working order, and conclude if any additional items, such as anti freeze, oil and/or diesel are necessary. If any additional items are required this is quoted for separately and approved before completing the maintenance.
At 250 hours a full service of the unit is preformed with the replacement of all necessary oil, oil filters, fuel filters and air filters – again this will be quoted for in advance. Our visits will be at set times on a particular day of the month so that prior access arrangements can be made with the least disruption to you.
If there are any special requirements or requests regarding the maintenance of your generator Superwatt is always willing to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
THE MAINTENANCE VISIT WILL ENTAIL :
· Checking Oil levels;
· Checking Water levels;
· Checking Fuel levels;
· Dusting out of air filters;
· Following start-up procedures;
· Complete change over sequence in the case of an ATS (Auto transfer switch);
· General cleaning of the unit and checking all is in order.
· A maintenance report is supplied with each invoice
